I'd originally wanted a Lydia Green but I missed out on my chance to get her and she has shot up in price so she was off the cards. The most important aspect for me was making sure whichever I chose had a nice stock face as although I adore looking at other people's custom Blythe's, I like to keep mine stock so it was important that I chose a Middie with a pretty stock face. I also wanted a fairly normal stock outfit and hair colour that would look nice with Bryce, my Neo; and so I decided upon Twinkle Princess.
I'm afraid this isn't going to be a massively in depth review with box photos and the like as I was too excited to open her up when she arrived and didn't take any photos of her in the box. However, like the bigger Blythe's, she came in her pretty box inside a Blythe shipper box.
Her outfit consists of a one piece dress which has a white bodice and mesh sleeves with fur cuffs, and a blue layered skirt with white stars all over; a lilac cape with white fur trim and ribbon to tie it up with white pom poms on the ends, a felt lilac crown with star cut outs, and pearlescent white boots. She has silvery hair, bright blue eyes and pink lips and cheeks. She comes with a lilac stand.
I think she and Bryce go together pretty nicely. I love the height difference and I think their hair colours look nice together. Bryce has nice pink lips and cheeks too so they compliment each other well. In the second photo is a Lottie doll to show you the heights too. I suspect Lottie clothes will fit Middie reasonably well although they will be a bit big on the waist I'd have thought. I'll try it later anyway and let you know how I get on ;)
Unlike their big sisters, Middie's only have one set of eye chips and so they have no use for a pull string. What they do have though is a little wheel on the back of their heads which you can scroll to change the position of their eyes from left to right etc.
Her body is literally like a smaller version of her big sisters, but unfortunately Middie's can't bend their knees which is quite disappointing but I'm sure I'll get over it! As you can see, she also comes with those dreadful knickers that look like paper pants you get given at a hospital or something lol!
Whilst Middie's cannot bend their legs however, a nice feature they do have is that you can tilt their head into different positions so she can look up, down, and to the side etc. Her feet are teensy so normal Blythe size shoes won't fit but I think she looks kind of cute in her big sis's Converse :-)
Overall, I am really pretty happy with her and I know I am going to enjoy having a smaller doll to pop in my bag sometimes for taking photos out and about. I think Bryce is going to enjoy having a little sister too :-)
